The Perth Mint is a world distinguished mint and precious metals refiner that is located in the City of Perth, in Western Australia. The Perth Mint was founded in 1896 by Britain’s Royal Mint in response to the newly discovered gold deposits in Western Australia. Obverse
The obverse depicts an effigy by Dan Thorne of His Majesty King Charles III together with weight, fineness, and monetary value. The obverse inscribes "CHARLES III, AUSTRALIA, 1/20oz 9999 Au, 5 DOLLARS".
Reverse
The reverse of the coin features a snake curled around bamboo stems. This design features the Chinese character "snake," the inscription "SNAKE 2025," and The Perth Mint's "P" mintmark.
